1. fish 2. tortois, 3. great boar or pig, 4. the man-lion face, 5.vamana ther first human growing in staure to thirvikrama or all pervading using only knowledge and no weapons, 6.parasurama bearing the axe as the weapon, 7, rama with bow and arrow giving potection to all those who surrendered completely t him, even if he would be an enemy, 8. balarama the third rama withth plough as his weapon who dare the river yamuna wnit changed course and brought it to his ffrmers by is plough, 9. krishna balaramas brother who wielded the discus weapon and entertined every one with his charm, music and dance, who taught arjuna in the ahabharatha battle field the bhagavat gita and the importance of duty, work without looking for the fruits of work or selfless work 10. the yet to be born kalki riding the horse though horse had been in use since rama's times to uphold the rights of people.
so if the dasavathara tracses the acent of the living a question arrises in m mind asdto the purpose of this ascent. another tamil lesson which stuck to my mind is about the earth worm.
this very important worm tills the soil without asking for salary, overtime and other allowances as it is its own master and no one is there to boss over it in its work except the humans who will catch it and use it as fish bait. his mout to anus is strait tube, the animal kingdom has a complecated intestine. the design as only an improvement and elaboration from the earth worm.
so the question which goes around in my mind is why simple to complicaed, why endow animals with inteligence, for whose benefit. what is clevernss or intelligence, iscte ant with its elaborate caste system work ethicks superior in intelligence?
